Xbox Series X Specs.
This was definitely the year for now consoles to be rolled out. PlayStation had already given a glimpse of PS5. Now Xbox has taken suit. Here are a few specs from the just officially announced console.
1. Power and Graphics.
The console will have a custom processor with AMD’s new Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures: a processor four times as powerful as an Xbox One. The new processor allows developers to use 12 Teraflops of GPU. That is twice the graphical power of an Xbox One X. A new “Quick Resume” feature lets you continue multiple games from a suspended state almost instantly, so there’s no need to quit one game and boot another. In addition, it will support 120fps framerate. This ensures that games will run clearly and smoothly onscreen.
2. Backwards Compatibility.
This has been the most talked about features. Microsoft have confirmed that the Xbox Series X will be able to play older Xbox games. This means your favorites from Xbox One or 360 can work on it. Also, certain Xbox one gaming accessories will also be compatible with the new console such as the gamepad.
The release of some these specs are a huge blow for PlayStation. What do you think? Will Microsoft come out victorious in the end or will Sony prevail. Leave your thoughts in the comment section. You can visit Tom’s guide to know more. For more of our posts click here.
