This coming Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was taped last week and will feature the return of one of their top stars.
Post Wrestling is reporting that AJ Styles is scheduled to appear on the show. Styles has not appeared on WWE television since being buried by The Undertaker in the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania.
In addition to his return to Raw, Styles is also scheduled to be part of the Money In The Bank pay-per-view that will stream on Sunday, May 10 on the WWE Network.
There is no word on what Styles will be doing this Monday or at the pay-per-view but he will be a welcome addition to the weekly shows as Raw has seen a big drop in the ratings since they’ve been forced to do shows without fans at the Performance Center.
During the recent investor conference call, the declining ratings were attributed to the fact that some of the top talents have not been on the shows with Brock Lesnar’s name specifically being brought up. On SmackDown, they don’t have Roman Reigns and he may not be back anytime soon.
During his time away from the ring, Styles has seen both of his closest friends, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, released by the company due to budget cuts related to COVID-19.
