Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, the Director-General of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), said that 5 to fifteen per cent of Coronavirus patients will fall seriously ill and die while 95 to 98% will recover betting on where they’re.
Dr. Ihekweazu said that a lot of patients are asymptomatic and can recover but are only kept in isolation and treatment centres to forestall the contagion of the Coronavirus by others.
Dr. Ihekweazu stated this at the daily press briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 on Wednesday.
“Many asymptomatic patients will recover.”
The only reason we are keeping them in isolation and treatment centres is to forestall contagion of this disease by others
“5 to fifteen per cent betting on where they’re will become seriously ill and some will unluckily pass away.
Every state is in danger immediately, that the thought of moving from one state to a different qualifies you to be at higher risk really, is no longer the case.
“The measures recommended globally is the same measure we recommend for everyone.
“Therefore, whatever measures we’ve to try and we have to try and do it collectively – whether you’re within the North, South, East, or West.”
