Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus who is thr Director General of The World health Organisation (WHO) has stated that the confirmed cases of the Coronavirus will hit 1 million globally in just a few days.
On Wednesday, he gave an update about the Coronavirus. In his update about the virus, he mention that there has been a very fast spread of the virus reaching almost all countries all over the world.
And the the number of deaths has doubled in the past week. He made it very clear that all countries should be full equipped to detect, test, isolate and treat the Coronavirus cases and identify contacts.
The Dr. Tedros said he is encouraged by how countries are doing their best to tackle the pandemic ravaging the whole world in spite of limited resources.
Countries have made efforts to ensure people stay at home and shout down social gathering which is a way of limiting the Coronavirus.
